Louise Provencher



Louise started Olympic Boxing in 1995 and won the Canadian Championship Title in the 48kg division. She competed as an amateur until 2000. In 2001 she fought as a professional boxer and won against her opponent in a historical bout unanimously.

  • I have been practising karate since 1982. Fourth-level Yon-Dan, Yoshukai style. Also member of (NKA) - National Karate Association

  • Canadian Karate Champion. Ninth in kata for 1996 and 1997, third in combat for 1997 and 1998

  • Member of the National Team 1996

  • Chito-Ryu World Champion for 1995


    Technical Director of the Yoshukan Canada Association

    Coach/ trainer for the Quebec Karate Team since 1999

  • Chief Karate instructor at the NDG YMCA. I taught children and adults twice a week for 9 years. I have also tought the DYNOBOXE training system since April 2000

  • I have practiced Olympic Boxing since 1995

  • Canadian Olympic Boxing Champion for 48kgs in July 1995

  • Silver medal in 1997, 1998 and 1999 for Canadian Championships. Provincial champion in professional boxing on Tuesday, June 5th, 2001 at Trois-Rivieres

  • Women's National Boxing Team coach as of March 2003

  • To combine Karate and Boxing, I also practised Kickboxing during 1996 and 1997

  • I also studied laido in 1995 and 1996 and hold a First kyu (brown belt) in this martial art
